The 12th multidisciplinary workshop on advances in preferences handling has been held virtually on August 29, 2020 as part of the workshop program of ECAI 2020. ECAI had been planned to be held in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain, but the organizers had to switch to a digital format due to the COVID-19 pandemics. The workshop has addressed all computational aspects of preference handling and has been organized by Markus Endres, Ulrich Junker, and Andreas Pfandler.
