MPREF 2024

The 15th Multidisciplinary Workshop on Advances in Preference Handling will be held in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain on October 19 or 20, 2024 in conjunction with ECAI 2024. The workshop will address all computational aspects of preference handling and is organized by Ulrich Junker and Anaëlle Wilczynski. This workshop has no formal proceedings and is more intended to get early feedback. Submissions are expected by May 15, 2024 and may include original submissions or multiple submissions. Please consult the workshop web site for details.

ADT 2024

The Eighth International Conference on Algorithmic Decision Theory will be held on October 14-16, 2024 in the Center for Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science (DIMACS) at Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ, USA. The general chairs are David Pennock and Lirong Xia and the program chairs are Rupert Freeman and Nicholas Mattei. The conference seeks to bring together researchers as well as practitioners from computer science, economics, and operations research to advance theory and practice of decision support methods. It will cover topics such as argumentation theory, computational social choice, decision analysis, game theory, machine learning, multi-agent systems, multi-criteria decision aiding, optimization, preference modeling, risk analysis, and utility theory. Abstract submissions are expected on May 10, 2024 and full paper submissions on May 17, 2024. Please consult the submission page for details.

MPREF 2023

ADT 2021

The Seventh International Conference on Algorithmic Decision Theory has been held on November 3-5, 2021 in Toulouse, France as a hybrid conference. The program chairs have been David Rios Insua and Dimitris Fotakis and the local organizing committee consisted of Umberto Grandi, Sylvie Doutre, Laurent Perrussel, Pascale Zaraté, and Rachael Colley. A bit more than two third of the participants physically met onsite at the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole in a spacious auditorium while respecting all sanitary measures. The conference was preceded by a PhD day and thus allowed a large number of PhD students to participate at this event. The conference program included three invited talks by Edith Elkind, Christophe Labreuche, and Battista Biggio as well as twenty-seven regular talks. The talks covered topics such as preference elicitation and modeling, preference aggregation, computational social choice, voting, coalition formation, fair division and resource allocation, stable matchings, and participatory budgeting. The conference proceedings have been published as Volume 13023 of the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series.
